Southern Appalachian Anglers is dedicated to keeping our rivers and lakes in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clean. Southern Appalachian Anglers River Preservation Coalition, Inc. is a nonprofit that helps to improve ecosystems in and around our waterways.
SAARPC, Inc. was founded to give back to our local communities. Southern Appalachian Anglers River Preservation Coalition, Inc. mission is to purify waterways in Western North Carolina through trash clean-ups, educational outreach programs, and through replanting of trees on riparian zones to help combat erosion control.
With most of our time spent on the water guiding in remote areas, we tend to see most of the trash that gets washed away. We focus our river clean ups in a number of different counties from Buncombe, Hendersonville, Madison and Watauga.
The focus of our initiative is to unite anglers, and landowners, in an effort to conserve the cleanliness of the environment and waterways in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. We hold a number of different river cleanups every year.
